She moved into my old apartment
That’s how we got this whole thing started
She called and said that I had mail waiting there for me
I told her that I’d come and get it
How could I know in just a minute
That I’d be standing face to face with my own destiny
Oh, and we sat there talkin’ just like we were old friends
Oh, then I ask her can I see you again
She said, ?Yes?
?N I said wow
I said how about right now
Love can’t wait
?N I asked if she believed in fate
And she said, ?Yes? Read the rest of this entry »

Let’s say were sorry, before it’s too late, give forgiveness a chance
Turn the anger into water; let it slip through our hands
We all bleed red, we all taste rain, all fall down, lose our way,
We all say words we regret, we all cry tears, we all bleed red
If we’re fighting, we’re both losing; we’re just wasting our time
Because my scars, they are your scars and your world is mine
You and I, we all bleed red, we all taste rain, all fall down, lose our way
We all say words, we regret, well cry tears, we all bleed red
Sometimes we’re strong, sometimes we’re weak, sometimes we’re hurt and it cuts deep
We live this life, breath to breath, we’re all the same; we all bleed red Read the rest of this entry »

They called them crazy when they started out
Said, “Seventeen’s too young to know what loves about”
They’ve been together fifty-eight years now
That’s crazy
He brought home sixty-seven bucks a week
Bought a little 2 bedroom house on Maple Street
Where she blessed him with six more mouths to feed
Now that’s crazy
Just ask him how he did it
He’ll say, “Pull up a seat
It’ll only take a minute
To tell you everything” Read the rest of this entry »

Hoping I would find true love along the broken road
But I got lost a time or two
Wiped my brow and kept pushing through
I couldn’t see how every sign pointed straight to you
[Chorus:]
Every long lost dream led me to where you are
Others who broke my heart they were like Northern stars
Pointing me on my way into your loving arms
This much I know is true
That God blessed the broken road
That led me straight to you Read the rest of this entry »

I’ve seen the storm clouds in your past
But rest assured ’cause you are safe
at home at last
I rescued you, you rescued me
And we’re right where we should be
when we’re together
I know the questions in your mind
But go ahead and ask me one more time
You’ll find the answer’s still the same
It won’t change from day to day
for worse or better Read the rest of this entry »

Baby why you wanna cry?
You really oughta know that I
Just have to walk away sometimes
We’re gonna do what lovers do
We’re gonna have a fight or two
But I ain’t ever changin’ my mind
Crazy girl, don’t you know that I love you?
And I wouldn’t dream of goin’ nowhere
Silly woman, come here, let me hold you
Have I told you lately?
I love you like crazy, girl
Wouldn’t miss a single day
I’d probably just fade away
Without you, I’d lose my mind
Before you ever came along
I was livin’ life all wrong
Smartest thing I ever did was make you all mine
Crazy girl, don’t you know that I love you?
And I wouldn’t dream of goin’ nowhere
Silly woman, come here, let me hold you
Have I told you lately?
I love you like crazy, girl
Crazy girl
Crazy girl, don’t you know that I love you?
And I wouldn’t dream of goin’ nowhere
Silly woman, come here, let me hold you
Have I told you lately,
I love you like
Crazy, girl, don’t you know that I love you?
And I wouldn’t dream of goin’ nowhere
Silly woman, come here, let me hold you
Have I told you lately?
I love you like crazy, girl
Like crazy
Crazy girl
Like crazy
